CARES

Avaya CMS Systems
CARES – CMS Automated Report Email Software

CARES is an application that resides on CMS and emails a CMS report on a predetermined interval to a specific recipient. Within the Crontab the administrator sets the time and data that CARES will email the report.

CARES Configuration File
Within the Configuration File certain fields are set once and not changed while other fields are administered as needed by the Contact Center Administrator.

Static Fields

  • Server (DNS or IP)
  • Port Number or Service Name (Service or Server)

Administered Fields

  • Report Name: rpt_Name=Split/Skill:Status
  • Report Type: rpt_type=historical (This report can be real time or historical)
  • Report Category Type: These can be Standard or Custom
    Report Field Information: Up to six fields can be entered
  • Crontab Time: Where the time and date are entered. For example, 30 3 *** the report would be emailed at 3:30 daily.
           
    Sample Email Notification

 From:  CMS@Uname.specorp.com
 To: Call.Center.Manager@specorp.com
 Subject: CMS Daily Report
 
A copy of the selected report and the selected fields would follow the subject line.


Where:
The Uname is the Uname of the CMS
The specorp.com is replaced with the customer domain name
The Call.Center.Manager is replaced with an actual recipient name
