GSI – Generic Socket Interface Software

The GSI is an application that is designed for third party vendors looking for a faster and more reliable interface into the CMS. The application can also be modified to fit the needs of the vendor software. GSI is an application that resides on CMS and produces a TCP Socket version of any report on the system. This socket distributes statistics on standard or custom reports real time or historical statistics.
 
The output of the GSI socket is identical to the report and does not contain any additional formatting.

GSI Configuration File:
 
Administrator Fields

• Report Name: rpt_Name=Split/Skill:Status
• Report Type: rpt_type=historical (This report can be real time or historical)
• Report Category Type: These can be Standard or Custom
• Report Field Information: Up to six fields can be entered

• A soft Key license is provided with GSI. MP003-1005
